Emma Watson Could Never Film Another Movie Again, But As Long As She Keeps Giving Me Fashion Ideas, I’m Here For It

Emma Watson is one of the most underrated stylish celebrities. She keeps it simple, using elements of traditional Hollywood glam and comfortable streetwear to generate adorable looks. To me, the best thing about her style is that it’s replicable, making it easy for fans to pull from some of her best fashion moments for their own style. She hasn’t been seen on the big screen in a while, but her Milan Fashion Week ensemble was enough to satisfy fans of the actress, as the Harry Potter alum sported a stunning look at the fashion event.

Some use fashion week as an opportunity to experiment with big, maximalist outfits, but Watson took it back to the basics when she stepped out in Italy this week. The Little Women star rocked a preppy white mock-neck sweater, paired with a classic double-breasted black mini skirt. She styled the look with a simple pair of nude heels and a casual hair and makeup look. The ensemble was adorned with gold buttons, adding a ’60s flair. You can see her below:

The entire street style was designed by Prada, a brand Watson is an ambassador for. She makes the basics look effortlessly chic, showing a cute outfit idea as the colder months begin. You can see another photo below:

She looks so incredible in this outfit; I’m about to buy a million white sweaters and black skirts ASAP. While experimenting with fashion is such a fun part of the industry, there’s something so magnetizing and cool about styling classic elements that people have access to. Watson has worn unique pieces before, like the viral floating dress she posted on her Instagram, but her inner beauty truly shines with more understated pieces.

Buying a designer handbag? It’s better than rare cars, artworks as an investment

Dubai: We are often told to look at stocks, bonds, and property as possible investments, but there have long been alternatives that may not seem like the most obvious way to invest at first. A case in point being designer handbags.

In recent years, the investment potential of handbags outpaced rare artwork and cars, according to AMR, a UK-based art market researcher, when compiling ten years’ of global data. By 2027, the market is expected to reach $100 billion (Dh367 billion), compared to today’s $72 billion (Dh264 billion).

“Luxury handbags were considered an expensive gift until a series of crocodile skinned Hermès handbags started to break auction records around ten years ago,” the analysts at ARM revealed.

When buyers start to talk about luxury designer handbags as wardrobe investments or ‘investment bags’, they often don’t, however, compare the risks and returns against traditional investments

Paris Fashion Week A/W 2023: Chanel to Miu Miu

Paris Fashion Week A/W 2023 took place in the city this week, its arrival marking the end of a month-long fashion tour that has previously seen stops in New York, London, and most recently, Milan.

Long synonymous with style and craft – Paris is home to the historic ateliers of storied maisons like Dior, Saint Laurent and Givenchy – the city hosted shows from both established houses and rising names, from home and abroad.

This season came complete with designer debuts (Ann Demeulemeester and Nina Ricci both have new creative directors in Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Harris Reed respectively), runway returns (Alexander McQueen returned to Paris after showing in London and New York in recent seasons; Paco Rabanne and Y/Project also made a return to the womenswear season) and rising names, like Vaquera, Ester Manas and Weinsanto, which brought new energy to the week.

Alongside were new collections from the wide gamut of designers and houses that have long called Paris Fashion Week home – Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Loewe, Hermès, Valentino, Givenchy and Miu Miu among them.

Here, the best of Paris Fashion Week A/W 2023.

Closing Paris Fashion Week for the season, Belgian designer Glenn Martens – who showed a sexually liberated collection for Diesel earlier in the month in Milan – said his latest Y/Project collection had been informed by George Frideric Handel’s Lascia ch’io pianga, which he had been listening to throughout its creation. In particular, he picked out the line ‘let me weep over my cruel fate, and let me sigh for liberty from the choral aria, which for him captured not simply pain, but ‘serenity and solemnity’ – words the designer chose to describe the collection itself,

Most Iconic & Popular Louis Vuitton Bags To Collect

Louis Vuitton bags are not just a style or fashion statement that set the wearer apart from the crowd. Currently one of the most popular bag brands in the industry, the iconic carriers are more than just bags; they’re also synonymous with luxury fashion heritage.

In 1837, when a 16-year-old Louis Vuitton arrived in the fashion capital of Paris, he started as an apprentice at Monsieur Maréchal, making hard and sturdy luggage and trunks that could be roughly handled while mounting on horse-drawn carriages. Little did he know that these were the founding steps of what would become one of the global brands synonymous with high-end designer bags, luggage, vanity cases, jackets and clothes. In 1854, Louis Vuitton, a skilled craftsman and fashion designer, went on to establish this eponymous label and the rest is history.

Louis Vuitton bags have been a staple among globally renowned celebrities like Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O, Venus Williams, Deepika Padukone, Kendall Jenner and Laura Harrier who have added to the accessories’ cult status.

The iconic French fashion house is constantly on the lookout to reinvent its classic styles and designs. With new collections and distinguishing elements, there are only a few brands in the history of fashion that have tastefully revamped classic handbags like Louis Vuitton.

Owing to its brilliant craftsmanship, it becomes difficult to choose a few from the most popular Louis Vuitton bags. From the Keepall and Speedy to Twist and Capucines, these bags have transcended time and set fashion standards high. If you don’t know where to begin, let this list of the most popular Louis Vuitton bags be your guide.

The Legendary History of the French Luxury Fashion Brand Louis Vuitton

Often hailed as the world’s most valuable luxury brand, Louis Vuitton needs no introduction. Yet, its hallowed stature in the world of fashion and humongous business enterprise demands a retelling of the glorious history of Louis Vuitton. It is, after all, built on the dreams and aspirations of a teenager some 200 years ago — one that has and will continue to inspire countless generations.

Louis Vuitton, the brand, is today a division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, simply known as LVMH or Louis Vuitton — a holding company which came into being in 1987 with the merger of the fashion house with Moët Hennessy.

One can get an idea about how massive LVMH is today through some of the luxury fashion brands it controls — Bulgari, Celine, Fendi, Givenchy, TAG Heuer, and Tiffany & Co. among others. Each brand has a storied history of its own and its own distinct image. And all of them are technically managed by LVMH, which functions within this umbrella as a distinct identity drawing from its history from about two centuries ago.

As of 2020, the Louis Vuitton company had 23,000 employees, 460 boutiques and over USD 10 billion in annual sales. Most famous for its bags, the house is also renowned for its ready-to-wear clothes, jewellery, watches and other luxury lifestyle accessories.

Here’s all you need to know about the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton

How it all started

The story of Louis Vuitton began with the dream of its namesake founder. Founder Louis Vuitton was only 16 years old in 1937 when he began his apprenticeship with trunk maker Monsieur Maréchal in Paris, France. His arrival in the city is something immensely inspiring; Vuitton, who was born in Anchay, walked 450 km

5 makeup essentials for your dressing table in the UAE, for 2022

A vanity table is more than a mirror and your makeup pouch, or at least that’s what professional make-up artists in Dubai say. The key to powdering the face in record time is to have a dedicated corner with all your tools and accessories laid out.

A well-equipped vanity helps with achieving the best lighting after the sun has set, if you have portable LED light fixtures. Another touted essential is acrylic organisers that can hold palettes, brushes and lipsticks, from where they can be quickly plucked and dropped back in.

Some accessories, like an additional mirror, can depend on where your vanity is located. But, remember, there are no hard and fast rules to scouting the best location, as long as it receives plenty of natural lighting. Vlada Elchava, a pro makeup artist in Dubai with a broad clientele, from celebrities to brides, says she and her vanity essentials go wherever there is “best lighting” at home, also known as her dining table.

Taking different beauty corners into consideration, we came up with a list of essential tools and featured tips on how to use them by professionals. Now’s the best time to get the vanity sorted and stocked, while Amazon’s Beauty Week sale is still on. Deck out your corner as soon tomorrow by ordering as a Prime member.

The best part about portable vanity mirrors is that they can be paired with any tabletop – be it your study desk or the bathroom counter. And those that come with lights help mimic natural sunlight in dim areas. For Gaelle Hanna, a Dubai-based Lebanese makeup
